Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal Inaugurates 'Back to School Campaign 2025'

Sahiwal (Al-Mujahid News) – Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal, Shahid Mahmood, formally inaugurated the "Back to School Campaign 2025" and reiterated the commitment that no child in the district will be deprived of education. He expressed these views while addressing the inaugural ceremony held at Government Comprehensive High School Sahiwal.

The event was attended by Divisional Director Elementary Hassan Mahmood Anjum, Additional Director Elementary Tanveer Ahmad, CEO Education Tanveer Ahmad Ghazali, DEOs, teachers, students, and a large number of parents. Under the campaign, the Deputy Commissioner symbolically enrolled ten children and presented them with school bags, lunch boxes, and stationery as gifts.

He issued strict directives to all DEOs, AEOs, and relevant officers to actively go into the field and ensure children's admissions to meet the targets set by the Punjab Government. Shahid Mahmood stated that education is the sole means of bringing positive change to society. He further emphasized that equipping children with the jewel of education is our national duty, enabling them to play a vital role in the nation's progress in the future.

During the ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner also referenced the ongoing cervical cancer prevention vaccination drive in the district and urged teachers to educate students and their parents about the importance of the vaccine.
